Healer Training Courses at the Sanctuary
The Harry Edwards Healing Sanctuary currently offers two excellent courses in healer training.
Preparing To Heal
The HEHS Preparing to Heal course is a relaxed and informative two day workshop designed for those new to healing who want a general introduction to some of the concepts involved such as the nature of healing, the subtle energy systems and the role of intention. By the end of the workshop attendees will have a basic understanding of spiritual healing, including distant healing, and some of the techniques used in the preparation for healing practice. Opportunities to receive healing will be also available and a certificate of attendance will be given at the end of the workshop.
In line with UK Healers requirements, this workshop does not confer practitioner status, and may not be suitable for those who already hold one or more complementary therapy qualifications. If in doubt please enquire for more details.
The cost of the course is currently £100. A light lunch and refreshments are also included.
Harry Edwards Healing Sanctuary Level 2 Certificate In Healing Practice
The Harry Edwards Healing Sanctuary Level 2 Certificate in Healing Practice course is a two year part-taught, part self-study programme for those who wish to become full qualified healers. The course is fully accredited by UK Healers – the standing setting and regulatory body for healing in the UK – and also offers external accreditation by the Open College Network to NFQ Level 2, the first of its kind in the UK to do so.
The course comprises of 6 weekend workshops spread over two years, providing a detailed theoretical framework of healing in the modern world and other related subjects, and ample opportunities to develop practical skills in healing. Practical and theoretical evidence of learning is demonstrated through completion of a portfolio of work comprising of a course workbook, case studies, tutorials and a record of healing practice. There will also be a final interview-based assessment. Successful students will be awarded the HEHS Certificate in Spiritual Healing and will be eligible for inclusion on Part B of the HEHS Register of Healers.
The course is reasonably and realistically priced and a range of easy payment methods are available. All courses are run at the Sanctuary and limited accommodation is available in Burrows Lea, the former home of Harry Edwards.
