VOLUNTEERING AT THE SANCTUARY
Often, the first person a new visitor to the Sanctuary meets will be one of our many volunteers. These people give up their spare time to help us continue to provide our healing service. Volunteers help us in many ways, whether healing, administration, helping on open days, working in the garden or wherever their particular talents best place them. We are grateful to all of our volunteers for their sterling service and we don't know what we would do without them!
We are always looking for people to help us deliver our healing service to those in need, and will periodically publish details of specific roles we need to fill on this page. If you live within travelling distance of Burrows Lea and can spare some time to help, we would love to hear from you!
Even if you don't see anything listed here that particularly suits you, please don't hesitate to get in touch - we'd be glad to talk to you and discover how best you could become part of our group of friends and volunteers!
We are currently seeking:
1. Marketing and Promotion Administrator: "Time For You" Carer Support Programme.
This role would involve one or two days per week at the Sanctuary, helping us to promote our "Time For You" carer support programme.
2. Administrator: Grant and Trust Fund Applications.
This role would involve two half days or one full day per week at the Sanctuary, helping us secure funding from Grant & Trust sources for specific projects and purposes.
